It's only because you're an artist you feel that way. As a fan, I just see you getting better and better.

It's been my experience that the more you know about comics, the harder it gets. You remain an amazing artist. I think knowing more just makes us pickier. It's a trick of the mind. The inner critic.

Your work is amazing, and you have all the tools you need to create great comics. You're doing a great job!

This is a really nice page. And I can confidently say that you are better. I also feel like Iā€™m getting worse on not improving sometimes. I hate my old art. All I can do is keep going.

i really like this page too. the emotions and such. the babies and kitty (brainfart on name). and then there's max in the doorway looming...

I understand you perfectly on the "getting worse" part, when you are now probably better than before but you now know how things look even better so you feel your shortcomings way more. I try going back and seeing what I used to do and usually it becomes more obvious how the progress has been.

I was just thinking about how much you have improved! Iā€™ve just been lurking as a free subscriber through email updates so when I saw you doubting yourself on this I had to jump in šŸ˜… I have both Wet Moon and Jem&Holograms reboot comics and I see a stark difference in your work here. I think itā€™s just your eyes catching up to your skill and that means youā€™re going to get some explosive growth through this project when your hands catch up to your new standards! Youā€™re a huge inspiration for my comic work/style (Iā€™m very into alt fashion) and seeing Shadoweyes is like how Iā€™d hope to draw in the future. Thanks for being you!
