So glad you are ok. I cut my finger on my drawing hand cleaning a knife once. No one was home and I had to call my dad to drive me to get it stitched up. Luckily we lived down the street from my parents at the time. I’d say definitely invest in a first aid kit. Kuro is right. Being friendly with your neighbors is also a good idea too. They will look out for you and your place when you aren’t there.
i tend to at least keep a decent relationship with whoever is next door (giving them the extra 17 cupcakes i baked at 3am also helps) just so i can ask for those emergency favors when i need em (or ya know sometimes you get cookies back owo)

Hello, Sophie Campbell, it's terrible to hear that you got hurt & can't draw for a while. :( I've had my right ring-finger badly cut by glass, it happened while cleaning some dishes (too much soap, not paying attention, accidentally dropped the drinking glass into the sink, a big piece of it "reached out" and sliced me) but thankfully I had first aid nearby, so I want to politely recommend you always try to keep some bandages in your kitchen & bathroom cuz that often seems to be where injuries happen.
