I’m figuring out how I want to color this book as I go along. The first book had shading/shadows on the whole thing, but I’m leaning toward plain flat colors for this one without any shading except on particularly dramatic panels.
I *really* like the plain coloring without the shadowing. I'm drawn (sorry for the pun) to the characters instead of the background scenery.
The explosion is, however, exceptional!
Now THAT is one heart-stopping explosion! :) Seriously, it looks like it's coming off the page, very well done!
