Thanks for sharing this! From a learner's perspective, your :) agony over drawing this water is actually so very reassuring and instructive, to see the way a terrific artist can also be caught in those decision-making situations, "do my eyes deceive me? Is this totally terrible?" when it scans to a reader's eyes (mine) like a very legible and visually appealing piece of rendering, even in B&W. I think it looks awesome, and I also appreciate the candor! :) I also think, as a reader who thinks about how we process comics images as sum-of-the-whole rather than individual parts (and therefore, oftentimes, less is more), I love your choice for the water reinforcing the "watery-ness" more so than overemphasizing the reflection of the surroundings. Beautiful page.

I meant when I get around to coloring the page, I might add some color effects and more water-like colors, something like that.
