My work on TMNT is nearly done!!! A bittersweet ending. :’) My work on the monthly comic is pretty much totally done, but I still have some things for the reprints of the TMNT & Other Strangeness RPG that recently did a super successful Kickstarter, I’m writing an adventure scenario and coloring some stuff drawn by the head of Palladium Books, Kevin Siembieda. And I’m also writing a short story for the upcoming TMNT 40th anniversary special, and THEN I had a meeting with Marvel the other day so I might be cooking up something with them! ;)
Whenever I finish a long project I always go into a funk for a few weeks afterward, like the project’s energy was sustaining me and once that power source is gone, I crash. It’s something that’s always happened to me since my early days. This time hasn’t been so bad, though, since finishing the TMNT ongoing series, I’m in relatively high spirits and looking forward to getting back to my other stuff like Shadoweyes and scupting my next monster figure. I’ve set aside April-June exclusively for Shadoweyes, I don’t know if that will be a long enough time to get it done but it’ll be a good chunk of it, at least. I can’t even imagine what my life would be like without an unfinished Shadoweyes comic hanging over me, haha.
Hey!!! I was just thinking about you since I was reading a book where the protagonist has a little girl named Sparkle who is also black. I was all “I want to reread Shadoweyes” and now you come with the good news ✨ 10/10 excelente service.
Freakin adorable
