I’m re-drawing an older page and I’ve been zoomed in on this panel for a few days now, and when I zoomed out today I was taken aback by how small it actually is on the page as a whole. That’s one problem with digital drawing, sometimes you lose your sense of scale; if you zoom in too much or spend too much time zoomed in, you lose sight of the actual size of the page/piece and waste time on noodley details. Sometimes if I draw things that are too small, it just gets lost on the final printed page.

So small. Will any of those details even register to the reader in the printed book?! Who can say.
